Coming from an in depth understanding of complex finance and tax law, Dan concentrates his
practice on drafting trust instruments in South Dakota, performing ancillary probates in Florida
and completing estate tax returns. Although those specialties remain Daniel’s primary focus,
Daniel’s knowledge and skill set allows him to serve his clients in a broader role: as a
trusted advisor on whom they can rely on to offer an inclusive experience, shrewd advice and
simple solutions to the estate or tax issues you may encounter.

Regardless of where you are at in the probate or estate planning process, Dan approaches
each matter with the same philosophy: how does the client define their goals, what options
are available to achieve those goals, and which option maximizes the chance of the best
return in the simplest and most efficient way possible?
Prior Experience
Before founding Glinert Law, PLLC, Daniel was an associate at Neider & Boucher, S.C.
While at Neider & Boucher, S.C., Daniel drafted both complex and simple estate plans. In
addition, Daniel served as tax counsel for the trustees of major trusts that were domiciled in
Wisconsin or South Dakota. Prior to his time at Neider & Boucher, S.C. Daniel was a partner
at Lein Glinert Law Group, LLC where he drafted trusts that were domiciled in South Dakota
or Wisconsin.
Outside Interests
When he’s not practicing law, Daniel enjoys sampling the finest restaurants that Toronto has
to offer, honing in his tennis serve, and long walks on any beach. He just likes the feeling of
sand between his toes
